These are the two paid platforms we leverage in order to build your personalized site and include all those fancy reviews you've collected on the OTA's! This is right around $30 per month and will be billed directly to you by them. You only pay us once!

As we can’t move forward building your site without these elements, you may be better off waiting until your branding is available. Yes and no! What we build for you is a hybrid site that leverages a customizable template which is optimized for conversion. If you start tweaking that too much, then you lose what makes it work so well. Think about Airbnb. They don’t change their site all the time because they have it dialed in. Ultimately, we leverage a structured flow that is customized to fit your property and bring it to the world in all its glory.

Think of it like one of those model homes you go into. They have specific designs but then you get to personalize the things inside the walls 😁

Meaning, branding (logo, colors, etc.) and everything specific to your property (photos, copy, etc.) and the area (photos, copy, etc.) are populated based on your direction.

Our site provides a high level of customization compared to basic platform management sites and makes it easier for you to make adjustments yourself. That said, you have the flexibility to make changes yourself or you can engage with the thousands of Squarespace experts to further customize your sight, we just don’t recommend it.

Ultimately, if you want something that is bespoke, like designing your own custom home with an architect, then we are not your solution.

Go for it! Because your site is built on Squarespace, adding to it is a built in benefit. If you have specific things in mind, reach out to us as maybe we’ll want to add it to future designs and/or help to create easy to use templates you can leverage.

Once you review and accept your site, we will hand the site over to you. You’ll then have access to Squarespace support, which is extremely robust and includes chat support, email, and a deep library of resources. Though I have to admit that my go to is YouTube and due to the popularity of this tool, there are a lot of walk throughs. That said, if you have specific questions, then you can email us.

A better question to ask is why other direct booking sites don’t, and why Airbnb (which handles more bookings than anyone) does. Everything about this design is meant to guide your potential guest on a journey—addressing their initial questions, getting them more excited, and building trust. It is also designed to avoid sending them to other pages that could distract them from the goal of booking a stay. Let's face it, our guests have been trained to expect a certain experience and we prefer to give them what they are use to but without burying your brand.

If you're simply looking to have a website in case the need arises and don't plan on actively marketing it, using a site from your PMS (Platform Management System) is sufficient. However, if you have ambitions of building a brand, attract more guests, and maximize your revenue potential through effective marketing strategies, then you should invest in a professionally designed website. Currently, the free PMS sites are more of a marketing freebie than a strong converting solution. So, if you are serious about building your business and plan to optimize your website for conversions, a PMS is only going to get you so far.

We will deliver your website for review 2 weeks after you complete the onboarding documentation, unless we are accommodating a special request such as onboarding a new PMS partner.

If you want to make changes to your site, it will need to be done directly within the Squarespace platform. While we expect to eventually allow some changes to be made via your PMS, the language you use on the OTA's vs. your direct booking site is not always identical so have not prioritized those integrations.

We follow a set process to work faster, and making changes would take more time and doesn't fit our simple, efficient way of working. It’s like baking a cake from scratch instead of trying to fix one that’s already baked. By starting fresh, we can make sure everything is perfect, faster, and with better results.
